About me
I’m Dr Ajmal Zubair (AJ), a highly dedicated and experienced dental surgeon with a passion for Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology. With over several years of experience in both NHS and private practice, I’ve developed a diverse set of skills to provide high-quality care to my patients. I hold an MSc in Oral Surgery with Distinction from the University of Central Lancashire, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Dental Implantology at the University of Salford.
My journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bristol, where I achieved multiple merits in Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics. Following this, I pursued advanced training, obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Oral Surgery with Distinction from the University of Bristol (2021). My professional work has seen me perform a range of complex dental procedures, particularly in oral surgery, and I have completed several hundred cases in Intravenous Sedation. One of my proudest achievements was becoming one of the first HEIW accredited Dentists with Enhanced Skills in Oral Surgery in NHS Wales History.
Beyond my clinical work, I’m deeply passionate about continuous learning and education. Outside of dentistry, I have a deep love for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and philosophy, which help me maintain a balanced and driven approach to both life and work.
