Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the surgery take?

The surgery is approximately 1.5 - 2.5 hours long depending on patient compliance and complexity of individual case. This is for both jaws.

Do you put me to sleep during the surgery?

No. it is illegal to put a patient under general anaesthetic for full mouth dental implants. We offer two forms of sedation, oral sedation which 90% of our patients opt for which relaxes our patients during operation. Alternatively, IV sedation is offered which is a stringer form of sedation. We offer IV sedation at an additional cost of £1000.

Why is the 21D solution better?

Unlike other clinics offering full mouth dental implants, our solution is fully digital and we create custom guides prior to surgery that allow our clinicians to accurately place your implants precisely and efficiently which is why the surgery is quicker than other providers.

What is full mouth rehabilitation?

Full mouth dental implants, also known as full mouth reconstruction or rehabilitation, are a type of dental restoration that involves the replacement of all teeth in the upper and/or lower jaw using dental implants. Unlike traditional dentures, which sit on top of the gums, dental implants are anchored into the jaw bone, providing a stable foundation for artificial prosthetics. Full mouth dental implants are often recommended for patients who are missing all, or most, of their natural teeth due to injury, decay, or gum disease.
